Aenas Creek, in the Garnett Valley, was a popular picnic site for residents in the early days of Summerland.
This photo shows William Simpson, his wife Harriet Bonner Simpson, and Jim Dunsdon, on the front seat of the wagon, with Billy Sylvester and Pearl Robinson on the back seat. Aenas Creek continued on, into the State of Montana.
