This 1905 photograph shows the view from the home of J.M. Robinson, in Lower Summerland, overlooking Lake Okanagan and Trout Creek.

The cottage in the foreground belonged to the estate gardener.

Robinson was the manager of the Summerland Development Company, which was responsible for providing many services to the growing community in its early days.
