Apex Mountain Resort opens 10 runs on Wednesday

Apex is opening Wednesday Dec 6. with 10 runs.

Apex has shifted their opening date to Wednesday, rather than their anticipated opening date of Dec. 9.

A Pineapple Express rain storm that hit B.C. recently left behind both good and bad news for local ski resorts. Apex had pushed back its original opening date from Dec. 2 to Dec. 9. However, with snow making machines going steady, they are now able to open earlier.

As of Tuesday, Apex has an alpine base of 74 centimetres and has eight cm of new snow in the past 48 hours.
