On Sunday morning, triathletes of all ages will participate in the annual Orca Swim Club’s Sprint Triathlon and Kids of Steel.
The event is held at Peach Orchard Park in Summerland.
There are age categories for children as young as six years old to adults.
For the youngest children, the race has a 50-metre swim, a 1.5-kilometre cycle portion and a 0.5-kilometre run.
Older teens and adults have a much longer course. For 16- to 18-year-olds in the Kids of Steel and for adults, the course is a 750-metre swim a 20-kilometre cycle portion and a five-kilometre run.
Courses for all age groups are along the lake in Summerland.
