An RCMP golf tournament will be held at the Summerland Golf and Country Club next week.

The 46th annual E Division/Honour House Society Charity Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 12 to 14 and will raise money for the Honour House Society.

The participants in the tournament are present and retired RCMP members, along with a limited number of corporate playing sponsors, from all regions of B.C.

The Honour House Society provides temporary housing for Canadian Forces veterans, emergency services personnel and their families while they travel to receive medical care and treatment in the Vancouver area.

In 2016, the society broke ground on a new project in Kamloops, B.C.

Last year’s fundraising golf tournament raised more than $19,000 for the Honour House Society.
