Armand Houle, minister at Summerland United Church, says a prayer for Abigail, a four-week-old kitten. Holding Abigail is Lindsay Jones, 10 years old. The pet blessing service was held in Memorial Park on Saturday morning, as a way to acknowledge the bond people have with their pets and to give thanks for their presence.
