Campbell Ryga returned home to play to a sold out crowd at Centre Stage on Saturday evening. Ryga is a three-time Juno Award-winning and Grammy-nominated saxophone player. He and his ensemble, featuring Chris Sigerson on piano, Miles Foxx Hill on bass and Blaine Wikjord on drums, have played together for over 20 years. The concert was part of the Marginal Arts Festival, inspired by Campbell’s father George Ryga, the nationally acclaimed playwright and author who lived in Summerland from 1963 until his death in 1987.
