With gas prices going up all the time, there is one way that can help.
Most of Highway 97 between Peachland and Penticton is marked Maximum 100 kilometres an hour, except for the section through Summerland to Trout Creek.
I find if I keep to the speed limit in the right lane, many vehicles rush past me doing well over 120 km/h.
The higher the speed the more fuel is used. So if you slow down, you not only save fuel but money as a result.
