Dear Editor:
Mayor Peter Waterman has suggested that the Summerland Fish Hatchery was unprofessional for not installing water monitoring devices.
I am unaware of the hatchery experiencing issues with excessive turbidity in their 90-year history, making monitoring unnecessary.
Extending Mr. Waterman’s logic, is Summerland negligent in not having air quality monitoring equipment to measure excessive air pollution?
