Wendy Mary Beam
of Summerland, BC passed away peacefully on March 16, 2009, at age 65, after a 32-year victory over cancer. Born in Vancouver, she lived in White Rock and New Jersey before moving to Summerland in 1997. Daughter of Robert & Grace Cuthbert, she is survived by: Husband, Allen Beam; Sons, Bob and Alex Sifniades; Brother, Robert Cuthbert (of Vancouver); Sister, Joan Campbell (of Duncan) and numerous extended family members. Wendy will be remembered for her loving and caring ways, her humour, and her perseverance. She appreciated the arts, travel & the beautiful things in life and was very happy to spend her final years in the province that she always considered home. Words cannot express our sorrow at her passing. No public service will be held at Wendy’s request.
