Suffiad, Sandra (Sandy): Died in St. Michael’s Hospice, Burnaby, BC, October 9, 2010. Longtime Summerland resident and travel agent, Sandra lived until the end with humour, courage and concern for others. Family and friends provided support and love throughout her journey. She will be missed by son Warren, his partner Kelly and daughters Acacia and Xenia; her sisters Maureen and Heather; brother-in-law George; cousins Brita, Jenny Lou and Ralph; aunt Margaret; and all her many friends in Summerland, Vancouver area, Toronto and eastern Ontario. Donations in her name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Arthritis Society. A celebration of her life will occur at a date to be determined.
