SADIGHEH 'SADI' NADERI

Mrs. Sadigheh ‘Sadi’ Naderi passed peacefully to the realm on high on July 8, 2016. Sadigheh was born in Isfahan, Iran. In 1979, as a result of religious persecution in her homeland, she and her husband moved to Canada. She has been a resident of Summerland since 1990. As a member of the Baha’i Faith, her life was spent in dedicated service to her family and the community. She loved books and supported the library in many ways. She volunteered in the Read Me Program in Summerland schools, at the Andrew Pavilion Extended Care Unit, at the Summerland Fall Fair and worked as a volunteer at Maxwell International Baha’i School on Vancouver Island. She was well-known and loved by many for her loving, caring and encouraging nature.

Funeral service is to be held at Providence’s Summerland Chapel, 13205 Rosedale Ave., Summerland, BC on Wednesday, July 13th at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial at Canyon View Cemetery, 10316 Canyon View Rd, Summerland, BC.

She was predeceased by her husband Mohammad Naderi, her sister Bahareh Rafat, her mother Aziz Dawnayee, her neice Rafat Bidardell and many others who have gone on before her.

She is survived by her 3 children and their spouses: Farhad and Lois Naderi of Palm Harbor, FL, Farideh and Siavosh Tavakoli of Summerland and Farrokh and Afsaneh Naderi of Fort McMurray; 6 grandchildren: Nabil Naderi, Naysawn Naderi, Mishkin Tavakoli, Naseem Naderi, Arshawn Naderi and Rhiyon Naderi; and 2 great grandchildren: Pele Naderi and Maxwell Naderi.
