Mildred Minnie Clark of Summerland, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2007 at Moog and Friends Hospice House at the age of 90 years. She is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her 'adopted' family: Lloyd and Judy Christopherson, Dawnys Christopherson, Shawn Christopherson, Keri and Mike Barron and their children, Kiegan, Alex and Emma. She is sadly predeceased by her parents Charles and Minnie Clark. Millie loved life, enjoyed a good laugh and touched the lives of others, especially her adopted grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed travelling with family and friends. She was an avid spectator at basketball games, figure skating and 4H events as well as a great fan of sports on TV. She loved golf and playing bridge. She was a volunteer at Summerland General Hospital and was a Charter Member of the Eastern Star. Millie worked at the Packing House, Summerland Pharmacy (Green's Drug Store) and the 5¢ to $1 Store. Millie was a faithful member of St. Stephen's Anglican Church. A special thank you to Dr. Mack for his care and compassion. Celebration of Life Services were held on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 10:00 am from the St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 9311 Prairie Valley Road, Summerland, BC with the Reverend Daniel Croft officiating. Interment followed at Lake View Cemetery, Penticton, BC. Memorial Tributes may be made in Millie's honour to the St. Stephen's Anglican Building Fund, 9311 Prairie Valley Road, Summerland, BC V0H 1Z0.
