BECK, Lois Grace: Born in High Bluff, MB December 9, 1908; passed away in Summerland February 24th, 2009. Grace is survived by her husband of 72 years, Richard John (Jack) Beck; son, Doug of Calgary; daughter, Brenda Parrott of Oregon; six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Grace & Jack married in 1936. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing, ceramics, painting and caring for her family. She taught Sunday School for many years and was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the International Order of Job's Daughters. The family would like to thank Dr. Julien and the staff at the Summerland Seniors Village for their warm hearts and the helpful service they offered her at the Village. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life was held Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Summerland Alliance Church.
