Laurance, a man of simple tastes and wants, a man who loved and was loved by family and friends, was unexpectedly taken from us at home on December 4, 2010. Laurance will be loving remembered and greatly missed by his wife Thelma of 60 years, his three children: Dianne McGuffin (Robert), Dale (Susan) and Randy; nine grandchildren: Katherine, Michelle, Audrey, Christina, Lori, Melissa, Nicholas, Cody and Bradley; seven great-grandchildren: Joshua, Brandon, Tyler, Michael, Griffin, Shepard, Kianah and Bennett. He was predeceased by his brothers Jim and Henry. He is survived by his brother Wendall and numerous nieces and nephews. Laurance’s life was the outdoors including golfing, hunting, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed watching football, hockey and golf. A Memorial Service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
