John Stephen Hoskins
Born May 4, 1945 in Burns Lake, BC.
Forever in our hearts. Resting in peace and free of pain after a courageous battle with Mesothelioma. John died peacefully at home in Summerland, BC, which was his greatest wish, on January 27th, 2012. Predeceased by his parents, Philip and Bertha and his brother Ben. John will be lovingly remembered by his life companion Susan Wilson, sister Ann Sooley (Ron), children Chris Hoskins (Karen), Sandra Parkinson (Geramy) and Lanaya Hoskins, grandchildren Eric (11), Madelaine (10), Linden (4), Dylan (2) and Caidence (5), adopted family Scott, Brendan, Linda, Ethan and Natalie Wilson. John will by greatly missed by his many friends in Summerland, friends from all over the province and his motorcycle companions. He was a proud member of the boilermakers Lodge 359. There will be no service by request but a gathering to celebrate and remember John’s life will be held on April 21, 2012.
