Glen Archibald PETERS of Summerland passed away peacefully at his home on May 29th, 2007 at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his brother, John (Jackie) Peters, close friend Noreen Brooks, children: Glenda Peters and partner Phil Belding of Calgary, AB, Joseph of Victoria, BC and Mark (Kim) of Richmond, BC; 3 Grandchildren: Cary Drews of Okotoks, AB, Joshua Peters of Victoria, BC and Chanel Peters of Richmond, BC. He is sadly predeceased by grandson, Darren Drews, nephews Michael and Stephen Peters and parents Sarah and Pete. Glen loved to dance and listen to Country and Western music. He enjoyed camping. He always said everyone else had hobbies but even though he retired in 2001, his hobby was working. A Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, June 5th, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Rosedale Memorial Chapel, 13205 Rosedale Avenue, Summerland with Padre Rick Gay officiating. Interment followed at Canyon View Cemetery, Summerland, BC. Donations in Glen's honor may be made to the B.C. Lung Association or the B.C. Heart and Stroke Association.
