Bingham, Bruce Walter born April 11, 1940 in Victoria, BC passed away peacefully April 5, 2009 at Moog and Friends Hospice House, Penticton. He is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his best friend and wife, Mary-Jane, daughter, Lauri. Bruce was predeceased by his parents and his brother. A longtime resident of Summerland, Bruce grew up on and worked his family orchard. He drove truck for 30 years through the Okanagan Valley. At home, working with his hands or out in the orchard, he could build or fix almost anything. Bruce enjoyed coffee with “The Guys”, fishing, watching the trains across the valley, his garden patch & greenhouse. On behalf of Bruce, his family wishes to thank their wonderful friends for their outpouring of love & support. Many thanks to the amazing staff & volunteers at the Moog & Friends Hospice House for their care and compassion. In Bruce’s memory donations may be made to the Moog & Friends Hospice House or The Canadian Cancer Society. At Bruce’s request there will be no service.
