BAKER Bruce of Summerland, BC passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord May 15th, 2007 at the age of 80 years. Survived by his loving wife Lorraine Baker, children: Tom (Bonnie) Salisbury of Kamloops, BC, Jerry (Shelly) Baker of Chetwynd, BC, Susan (Howard) Salter of Kamloops, BC, Mavis (Dan) Thomas of Three Hills, AB, Stuart (Marylin) McDonald of Kamloops, BC, Keith (Pina) McDonald of Port Coquitlam, BC, Eugene McDonald of Kamloops, BC, thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, two sisters; Joyce (Willie) Rust of Oliver, BC, Muriel (Walter) Soude of Campbell River, BC, one brother Robert (Beth) Baker of Sooke, BC. Sadly predeceased by his father Christoper Baker, Lillian Baker and Ward Baker. Bruce Baker was a member of Operating & Engineers Local 115 for 30 years. Bruce loved to bowl spins. Some of the grandchildren had a nickname for their granddad. They called him Clifford. Bruce was a family man. He thought the world of his children, grandchildren and wife. He was there to support them whatever they did. Bruce loved going to the Alliance Church. He will be missed by his family and friends. Inurnment service will take place on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007 at 11:00 at Canyonview Cemetery, followed by Celebration of Life will at 2:00 p.m. at Summerland Alliance Church 14820 Victoria Road North, Summerland BC with Pastor Rick Gay officiating.
