Anne WALL

Anne Wall passed away on October 9, 2007 in her home at Parkdale Place, Summerland, BC, at the age of 70. Anne was the second eldest of six children, born on August 29, 1937 in McMahon Saskatchewan. The Saskatchewan prairie was where she was raised. She spent her married life in Swift Current, where she raised three children before moving to British Columbia in 1990. For most of her life, Anne was a stay at home mother until the children became independent when she worked as a seamstress, nanny and hotel housekeeping supervisor. In her retirement, Anne was involved in many volunteer projects as part of her church community. Anne traveled to Egypt, the Holy Land, and Caribbean. She took her family to Disneyland in 1991. She enjoyed trying new things like skiing and water sliding. Anne is survived by her three children: Deborah Gayle Hershmiller of Edmonton, Alberta, Donald Jake Wall of Kelowna, BC, and Jennifer Anne (Brian) Fester of Kelowna, BC, four grandchildren: Melanie Cristina (Robert) Nesimiuk of Edmonton, Alberta, Michelle Lynne (Damian) Kane of Edmonton Alberta, Tanya Lynn (Alex) Klimm of Kelowna, BC, and Lindsay (Krista) Wall of Winfi eld BC, and fi ve great grandchildren: Elizabeth Marlaine Klimm, Emma Alexis Klimm, James Donald Klimm, Ethan Kristopher James Nesimiuk, and Hunter James Wall, and four siblings: Mary Fraser of Swift Current, Sask., Jake (Ev) Wall of Esterhazy, Sask., Abe (Sarah) Wall of Edmonton, Alberta and Agnes Wilkins of Verden, Manitoba. She is predeceased by her parents, Abram Wall and Aganetha (Olfert) Wall, her brother, John and her grandson, Jeffrey Donald Wall. A celebration of her life was held on October 16, 2007 at the Summerland Baptist Church offi ciated by Pastor Larry Schram with the interment at Canyonview Cemetery. Parkdale Place held a lovely luncheon afterwards. Providence Funeral Home of Summerland was entrusted with the arrangements.
