Allen Everett Beam of Summerland, BC passed away
peacefully on April 19, 2017 at age 72, after a 13-month battle
with brain cancer. He was born in New Jersey and moved to
Summerland in 1997. Son of Everett and Lillian Beam, he was
predeceased by his wife, Wendy Mary Beam and is survived
by his stepsons Bob and Alex Sifniades.
Allen worked as an electronics technician before retiring
and was interested in computers, astronomy and science in
general, cooking, music, and art. He will be remembered for
his great intellectual curiosity. During his illness, Allen and
his family greatly appreciated the help of his dear friends and
neighbours Rick Gray and Ruth Charles. Donations may be
