In accordance with Section 26 of the Community Charter, the District of Summerland gives notice that it intends to lease approximately 625 square metres of a portion of the land legally described as Parcel A (Being a Consolidation of Lots A and B; see LB463825) District Lot 473 Osoyoos Division Yale District Plan KAP90604, with a civic address of 9105 Peach Orchard Rd., as shown outlined on the sketch plan below, to Little Chicks Early Learning Society for a term of five years, with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2023 and end date of August 31, 2028, with the option to extend for five additional years, for an annual fee of $400.00. The land will be used exclusively for the purposes of operating a childcare centre.
In accordance with Section 24 of the Community Charter, the District of Summerland gives notice of its intention to provide a form of assistance to Little Chicks Early Learning Society by leasing the land to the not-for-profit organization for less than market value.
