Vice-principals appointed

Two school district appointees both have worked at Summerland schools

Two vice-principals, both with connections to Summerland schools, have been appointed by the Okanagan Skaha School District.

Kirsten Odian has been appointed elementary vice-principal, effective Aug. 1, at a school to be determined.

Odian has been a teacher for the past 14 years.

She has taught at Trout Creek Elementary School, Queen’s Park Elementary School and the Home Learners’ Program.

She has also served as District Early Learning and Literacy Helping Teacher for six years and as the principal of the Okanagan Skaha School District Elementary/Summer School program for the past four years.

Diane Haddow has been appointed as a middle school vice-principal, effective Aug. 1, at a school to be determined.

She has served as vice-principal at Oliver Elementary School.

Haddow has 22 years of teaching experience and has taught at Summerland Middle School, KVR Middle School and O’Connell Elementary School.
