Staff at the municipality of Summerland received more than $8 million in wages in 2021, as well as more than $63,500 in expenses.
The remuneration figures are listed in the Statement of Financial Information, a document which must be filed with the B.c. Ministry of Municipal Affairs by June 30.

The total paid to employees at the municipality came to $8,084,136.75.
A total of 45 municipal employees received remuneration of more than $75,000 in 2021. Their combined compensation was $4,323,211.14. The wages paid to those who received less than $75,000 came to $3,760,925.61.
Graham Statt, chief administrative officer for the municipality, was the highest paid with remuneration of $168,983.40 in 2021.
David Svetlichny, director of finance, received $134,489; Jeremy Storvold, director of utilities, received $125,373.60;
Marnie Manders, manager of human resources, received $124,422.72; Brad Dollevoet, director of development services, received $124,063.16.
Several electrical utility employees received in excess of $120,000 in remuneration in 2021.
There was one severance agreement in 2021, between the municipality and a non-unionized employee. This represented six months of salary.
A year ago, compensation for all municipal staff was around $7.15 million.
