Ashton, MP Dan Albas and all members of Summerland’s municipal council recently joined the railway society to show their support and help in the launching of a major fundraising effort.
This campaign is aimed at addressing a $600,000 estimated cost to perform a major upkeep maintenance effort on the Trout Creek Trestle Bridge.
Summerland residents are also being asked to support this project by joining the railway society.
