Fenrich named president of Summerland Chamber

The Summerland Chamber of Economic Development and Tourism has elected the new executive committee of the board of directors. Arlene Fenrich was named chamber president for the 2012-2013 term.

"I am excited about working with this team to accomplish our vision of all that a strong chamber embodies,” she said. “We are very motivated and committed to ensuring maximum impact for our members with the new directional strategies."

Fenrich is the owner of Edgy Petals in Summerland.

Others on the board are vice-president Brett DeWitt, general manager of the Summerland Waterfront Resort and Spa; treasurer Maged Said, owner of Mission Bottle Washing Ltd. and past president Thor Clausen, manager of Bartlett Tree Experts.

Directors are Connie Denesiuk, owner of Denesiuk Construction; Jason Embree, owner of Good Omens and Darin Fair, owner of the Beanery Coffee Company.
