Tires slashed

Somebody used a knife to slash tires on 14 vehicles parked on Main Street the evening of Feb. 18.

Police are continuing their investigation.

Driver charged

A female driver was charged with refusing to submit to a Breathalyzer test when she was stopped in a police roadblock the evening of Feb. 18.

Police said she appeared to have been drinking, and was ticketed for having open liquor in the vehicle.

Black ice crash

A white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck slid and flipped into the ditch when it hit black ice while going south on Highway 97 at Sumac Ridge the morning of Feb. 18.

The driver received minor injuries and was treated at Penticton Regional Hospital.

Stolen vehicle found

Summerland RCMP found an abandoned stolen vehicle at Highway 97 and Johnson Street the afternoon of Feb. 18.

The 1980 Oldsmobile had been stolen from Osoyoos.

Trailer theft tried

Someone tried to steal a trailer by towing it away from Tomlin Street on Feb. 20.

Police said it appeared the connection broke during the attempted theft.
