The OSO Melodic Spirits concert includes the grand melody Beethoven used to twist a Sarabande into Spain’s oppression of the Netherlands in the Egmont Overture.

Guest violinist Suzanne Hou will draw out Mozart’s voice in the Violin Concerto No. 5.

The influence of Czech folk songs will be heard in Dvorak’s Sixth Symphony.

The concert will be held on Saturday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cleland Theatre in Penticton.
