Barry Neary, in memory of his mother, Brenda Chesney, presented a donation of $10,000 to Christine Gray, Executive Director of Parkdale Place Housing Society.
The money will go towards the planned expansion of Angus Place with an additional 40 nonprofit senior apartments in downtown Summerland.
At left is Wendy Archer, manager of Angus Place, and at right is Marjorie Davidson, a long-term Angus resident and close friend of Chesney.
Parkdale Place Housing Society provides non profit housing in its three Summerland buildings to seniors and donations can be made at their office at 9302 Angus St., Summerland.
