Recyling helps send kids to camp

Ed Fehr continues his efforts to help send kids to camp by picking up bottles for recycling.

With Summer approaching and camp season soon upon us, Ed Fehr continues his efforts to help send kids to camp by picking up bottles for recycling.

He is also picking up cardboard as well now.

Kamloops Evangelical Free Church sends approximately 12 kids to camp each summer.

Through various sponsors, the church is grateful for the generous donations received that enables them to continue this program.

Summerland businesses, Phil from Northern Fireplace, Shell employees, Post office employees and some residents, Doreen, Vern and Marlene contribute as well by the donation of bottles which Ed takes in for recycling.

We all appreciate the effort everyone gives that enables these kids to go to camp.
