SUMMERLAND MUSEUM BIG ROCK On the northern slope of Giant’s Head Mountain, adjacent to Okanagan College was a large glacial erratic called “The Big Rock.” It was a favourite spot for photographs. There were concerns that the large rock may roll down into town. For safety reasons , the rock was buried close by.
