The 2011 All Canadian Wine Championships results were announced yesterday and SummerGate Winery is the proud recipient of two wine awards.
SummerGate’s 2009 Riesling Two obtained a silver in the medals of merit for best dry riesling category.
SummerGate’s 2009 Muscat Ottonel won gold in the medals of merit for other single variety whites.
SummerGate Winery is a five-hectare certified organic vineyard with a newly opened boutique winery and tasting room in Summerland in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia.
The winery produces approximately 600 cases of wine a year of premium white varietals of Riesling, Kerner, Muscat Ottonel.
